A dissertation project based on juxtaposition of order and structure in Graphic Design and the visual style of Grunge. The project combines these contrasting elements and explores the compelling outcomes by designing a magazine that documents the skateboarding culture in Malta. The purpose is to provide an authentic and comprehensive portrayal of the skateboarding community in Malta, highlighting the skaters' activities, interactions, and the urban environments they frequent. Additionally, the magazine aims to foster a greater understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of skateboarding within the local context by countering stigmas and misconceptions surrounding skateboarding.
